Macy's Celebrates Black History Month 2012 at MAAA
Romare Bearden Exhibit | February 9-19, 2012Macy's and the Romare Bearden Foundation invite you to celebrate the
100th birthday of one of America's foremost 20th century artists, Romare Bearden, with a special limited-engagement exhibit at The Museum of African American Art! OPENING RECEPTION AT MAAAThursday, February 9 6:00 to 8:00 pmMacy's invites you to view a satellite exhibit of Romare Bearden's
artwork. The exhibition will feature works of art that date from 1964 to
1984 when Romare Bearden was at the peak of his artistic power. During
the reception, a new generation of jazz musicians will perform
Bearden's music, which has previously been recorded by Branford
Marsalis, Tito Puente and Billy Eckstine. Plus, enter for your
