Haywood Galbreath shares images from 20 years of photo journalism in Los Angeles, including unpublished courtroom photos from the OJ Simpson trial.
Galbreath was one of Barack Obama's official photographers in California during his 2008 campaign and has covered special events for the last five presidents.
In his storied career as a photo journalist, Galbreath has covered some of the biggest news events the history of Los Angeles, including Nelson Mandela's first visit to the city, NFL Superbowls, NBA Championships, the Emmys, the Oscars, major civil unrest, and earthquakes.
Galbreath is founder and executive director of the Minority Photo Journalism Institute, a nonprofit organization that teaches photo journalism and broadcasting to young people interested in pursuing a career in the field.
