FAQ | macy's

Is MAAA owned by Macy's? Can I use my Macy's card in the museum's gift shop?

The Museum of African American Art (MAAA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and is not owned by Macy's. Macy's is a generous corporate sponsor that donates space inside its Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza store.

Since MAAA is not part of Macy's, visitors cannot use their Macy's charge card in the museum's gift shop.
